Health authorities suggest replacing sedentary behavior with light-intensity physical activity and gradually increasing the intensity and frequency of activity to avoid overweight or obesity.
 
People often cite reasons such as being ''too tired from work,'' ''lack of motivation to exercise,'' or ''no time due to work'' for not engaging in physical activity. Therefore, here are three small tips for office workers to increase physical activity in their daily work:
 
Avoid taking elevators and choose stairs: If possible, take the stairs instead of the elevator. You can also gradually increase physical activity by walking a few flights of stairs before taking the elevator.
 
Use bicycles for commuting: When going out or commuting to work, use bicycles more often, or get off one stop earlier and walk.
 
Exercise during work: During working hours, do 15 minutes of exercise, towel exercises, or stretching exercises in the morning and afternoon, accumulating 30 minutes of physical activity.
 
Office workers can improve their health by increasing their physical activity during spare time. The Ministry of Health invites office workers to ''reject sedentary lifestyle and embrace exercise,'' whether at work or at home, integrating physical activity into daily life!
